Leadership Development

The Lincoln Leaders Initiative is the premier leadership development program within the Institute for American Leadership built to inspire and empower the next generation of American leaders.

Participants attend monthly meetings in Chicago, each of which has a different theme and speakers. Sessions will include guest lectures from prominent officials on topics such as bipartisanship, leadership, and effective advocacy. Each participant is also paired with a member of the Institute’s board of advisors who serves as a mentor for the participant throughout their time in the program.

The program culminates with a visit to Washington, DC where the participants have the opportunity to meet with senior policymakers, diplomats, military officials, journalists, and academics for three days.
